It's a school night
Joshua got upset this morning when we got in the car and he wanted to go to "sool" (school) but instead we went to the gym. I had to explain that there was no one at school today but he could go tomorrow. Tonight when I was packing his lunch he said "sool" "pay" "na now" "mowwo" (school, play, not now, tomorrow) and then he started talking about "tee-chew" "Passy" and "Whe-ul" (his teacher Patsy and one of the kids in his class, Will). He really likes school, which makes it easier for me to leave him. Except for tomorrow since I have to stay. Did I mention how excited I am?
My penchant for dressing children in horizontal stripes is still alive and well. But she makes such a cute inmate.

I might just take tomorrow off! (1st of 3 posts)
**Don't forget to scroll down... I actually posted 3 times today! I'm also about to add a video of Zoe rolling over. She was a little mad about it, so you might want to turn the volume down.
I said "Joshua, can you make your hippo face?"
awww, how handsome!
Joshua being a little boy...
nope, not the second time either. Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me... (I learned that line from G.W. - kind of...)
I made him do pushups for beating up on Mommy
Zoe trying to roll over (also known as: I will upload these videos if it takes me all night)
granted, she might not even be close to rolling over, but she sure does look close and I sure don't want to miss it when she does. I think I have 100 videos of Joshua almost rolling over. Fortunately, I did actually get a video of the first time he did it. It was at my Grandma's house in Florida, Craig was at SERE school, and Grandma and I were playing cards. I may just have to dig it up and post it...
she's a little tummy time pro now!

I added more videos... and narration
may I please get up now?
I like to blow bubbles.
what's Zoe laughing at?
Joshua got a belt for his birthday, but he didn't want anything to do with it until I told him it was from Ma and Pa. (he picked his own outfit, and got very upset when I suggested he wear something different)
Mommy: what do you want to do Joshua?
Joshua: Yite
Mommy: Light. Here's your belt. Do you want to put it on?
Joshua: Nope.
Mommy: (gasp at the lack of politeness but I let him get away with it for the sake of my cinematography) It's from Ma and Pa.
Joshua: Maaaawwww
Mommy: It's from Ma and Pa, do you want it?
Joshua: (@ 23 seconds) takes the belt, grunting as though it's heavy. I love that funny walk.
Mommy: Joshua can you show me your belt? Who's it from?
Joshua: Paaawwww
Mommy: Who else?
Joshua: Maawwww
Mommy: do you like it?
Joshua: Maawww
Mommy: can you put it on?
Joshua: "no no no no no no" (why did I let him get away with that? because it was CUTE. That's how it all begins...)
Mommy: can Mommy put it on?
Joshua: Mommy (handing belt to Mommy)
Zoe: pant pant squeal
Mommy: Hi
Zoe: uuuhhh uuuhhh
Mommy: Tell us some more
Zoe: Ha Ha Ooohhh ooohhh
Mommy: Tell us some more
Zoe: baby noises / Mommy: Hi
Zoe: high pitched Mariah Carey-esque squeak - too funny
I'm such a winner!
">(wow, check out my big blogging skills! I'll be back later with some cute pictures and maybe videos too!)
