Introducing Audrey Hope!

Wow, after 2 months of no blogging, I finally have something special to share! Here's our long awaited little miss Audrey Hope. She was born on September 26th at 9:41pm, 7 lbs 13 oz and 21.5" long. She has had a great first 4 days of life and all of us are in love with her! The kids are still so excited about her, and I am thankful that they are as excited as we are. And now I'll give you what you really want... pictures!

we made a 'deal' with Zoe that she could get her big girl bed & move to the 'big kids room' once she was potty trained. Unfortunately, she has not mastered the poo just yet, but she's willing & able to practice so... I'll say it... I caved & let her sleep in there. Look at that face, you'd cave too. It helped that she brought me her diaper and asked me to go to bed (as opposed to our usual screaming when I leave the room with her in her crib). We spent most of the day rearranging the room. Joshua moved all the furniture for me. Not really, but I promise I was careful.
the only flaw in my rearrangement plan, getting the drawers on Joshua's bed open. My solution is to move the stuff we rarely use to those drawers. Leapsters. In bed. Don't judge.

Now to pare down the toy collection & get to repainting & rearranging the (formerly Zoe's room, dare I say it) nursery...

Birthday Girl

Our little Birthday Princess wanted to go to chuck e cheese for her birthday party this year, so Ma & I took her & Joshua for a fun morning. We were checking out at the prize counter and the lady next to us wasn't using all her kids' tickets, so she gave them to us. About 2000 of them!! Needless to say, Joshua & Zoe got to pick an extra toy. Also needless to say, neither of them has played with their toy since that day.
