The kiddos and I took a family vacay to Hampton Bays for the last couple weeks. Also got to visit Rhode Island to see Mom & Grandma for a few days. We got to spend time with Nonna, celebrate Emily's birthday, and play cards with my Grandma. Great trip, and we were all glad to get home safely. To celebrate, I did 4 loads of laundry and mowed the lawn. Now I'm watching David Carusoe aka the worst actor in the world and trying to finally blog for the first time in who knows how long. I had high hopes of doing something to celebrate my 300th blog post, oh well.
Grandma and I
The kids weren't too cooperative, but Connie and I sure look purdy.still not cooperating. Zoe and Uncle Jon watching the St. Patrick's Day parade in Hampton Bays, Long Island Joshua and Emily waving at probably a firetruck or bagpipe band Emily opening her bday presents Matthew and Joshua playing bubble trouble with Uncle Jon Emily showing Nonna her tinkerbell game on DS (I think) Joshua riding a bike for the first time. Zoe kept throwing the ball and yelling 'I did it!'
Hi my name is Kim and I like to blog. I've been doing it for over a year, and I can't figure out why. I don't know why I post the things I do. I find myself carrying my camera around, posing my family at every opportunity saying "hold on, I have to get a picture of this for the blog." And they think it's normal. Anything I cook or 'craft' and anything funny anyone in the house does is hereby subject to be blogged about. I love to get comments so that I know I'm not talking to myself. Not that there's anything wrong with that. Is there? I do check my sitemeter to see if people actually read this thing, but try not to get too wrapped up in what or why I'm blogging, or for whom. I think it will be fun for us, the Tripps, to look back on what we've been doing, and I think it will be fun for Joshua and Zoe to see how much I love them... all day, every day. This isn't a blog where you'll find anything too deep or philosophical, but we do believe in God and love us some Jesus 'round here, so hopefully that shines through in whatever I write. Welcome to my blog. Enjoy... and don't forget to comment!
