Road Tripp 6 - Zoe & Dad's birthdays

How many times can we celebrate one little girl's birthday?! Not enough!! We went to Heather's for a wonderful dinner followed by some evil-ly delicious chocolate fudgy cakey thingies that Sara made. Zoe's was topped w/ a princess candle and Dad's was topped with a space shuttle candle. Happy Birthdays!!my Dad grilling & Joshua with yet another gun. I think this is the bazooka of super soakers...

Road Tripp 4 - visiting friends!

Joshua & Zoe enjoy dessert with Avery & Mitchell after we all had a delish dinner
some excitement after the kids (I think it was Mitchell) found a stick bug
Zoe was definitely interested in that bug!

Mitchell, Joshua & Zoe on the climbing wall in their back yard! How fun!
Zoe was fearless. Nice that it's built on that rubbery stuff, so the kids just bounce off when they fall
but let's hope they don't fall... Zoe got to the top with Daddy's help. She would have kept going up and over had he not stopped herJoshua was all about the guns this vacation. What am I to do with this little boy!

Avery, how did you get up there??
Zoe went up and down this slide for at least 15 minutes

Road Tripp 2

family photo at trophy point. the 2 tourists look like bows sticking out of Zoe's pigtails. And why didn't anyone tell me it was wear red day? I don't match :(Craig loves me so much that he tried to cut my head out of the picture. Right next to his left eye is the Cadet Chapel where we got married. Right under that is the mess hall where we ate for four years... I'm sure several of the rooms we each lived in are in this pictures too.
Joshua took this one. I think he did a great job!
p.s. Matt, hope you don't mind I borrowed your Ironman mask.
Joshua insisted I wear it. It was a little distracting, trying to read my email while Joshua pressed the button on the side making the mask say "I. AM. IRONMAN." Over. and over. and over...
Trying to drink my coffee was also a challenge...Trying to laugh and drink my coffee without snarfing it on the mask was an even bigger challenge. Is snarfing a word? In my mind, that's when you're laughing so hard that whatever you're drinking comes out your nose...

On to more serious things... Craig taking the kids on a little sightseeing tour down Thayer Road

Aah, the beautiful, muddy, Hudson River
Daddy & his babies. Joshua and his binoculars.

Road Tripp

Zoe picked this little guy out at the Cadet Store. She knew it was a raccoon, but for whatever reason she and Joshua both call it a skunk now. Joshua picked out a pair of binoculars Joshua & Uncle Jon try on the Go Army spirit fingers.

two little monkeys trying out Daddy's rings in the garage gym. When Zoe swings, she likes to make monkey noises. Craig took this picture. I have since added padding beneath the rings so that they don't fall on concrete.
